"In our life there is a single color, as on an artist's palette,

which provides the meaning of life and art.

It is the color of love.”

~ Marc Chagall

New Babies

As I work through issues involving the web site, I cannot help but continue to make new dolls. (I love my work.) Here are pics of the latest creations...

Bride and Groom - Updated Photos

Here are some updated photos of the wedding couple, which could also be a cake topper. These type of dolls will be included in a special section of my web site, but will be a rare item. There will be a choice of grooms to go with the bride. The dolls are 2" tall.

Because the dolls have a high gloss, it is impossible to get pictures without some glare. The only way to get rid of the glare is to do extensive photo editing, which I chose not to do so that I don't risk changing the look of the dolls. I've taken pics of the bride and groom with and without the stand, because with the stand, the sparkle from the glossy glitter reflects on the dolls.

It is difficult to get the details to show on the pictures (next item, new camera). The bride's dress has tiny sparkles along the front v-line of her dress, and down the back of her dress. Her gown has light purple glitter sparkles in it. The lapels of the groom are drawn on and can not be seen well in the photo. Both dolls and heart stand are finished with a non-toxic gloss glaze.

The first two pics are the bride with a black-haired groom. The third and fourth pic is the bride with a brown-haired groom.

Too cute

Today I took new and final pictures of all my mini-dolls. After I was finished, I placed them carefully in a cardboard box top and set them on the top shelf in the storage room. The whole time I was taking pictures I was reminded again how uniquely adorable each doll is -  and how each one looked as happy as if it were school picture day or some other special event. Now I stood in the storage room laughing at how they looked from within the box - as if they were saying "What are we doing in here, and why are we in this box?"

I snapped a few quick pictures. A couple didn't turn out real clear, but here they are:

Newest i ♥ treasure™ mini dolls

Here are pics of a few of the latest mini's. This is an impromptu photo shoot (please excuse the glare). I'm also working on some special projects and surprise gifts for family members.
Have an awesome weekend, everyone!

Wedding Cake Topper Prototypes

I'm working on several different designs. This is the first. My camera does not do well with details. The brides dress has tiny sparkle/glitter on the front and back of her dress, as well as in her hair (between the dots of orchid).

New Cuties!

I love making the clothes for my dolls. It's challenging and fun to work with things so small.  When my youngest daughter and I were window shopping and saw something small (and cute) one of us would say "It's so cute..."  and then we'd both finish with "because it's so small!!!"

Here are pics of a few recent 'cuties':

Happy Friday!

Right now I am working on 15 mini's and 5 original 'treasures'. I'm excited because they just keep getting cuter (if that is possible).  I will be posting pics as soon as the mini's are finished and the originals have their clothes on! I have a bit of a surprise with the newest batch of originals!

I am planning a trip to visit my son, his wife & my two grandson's - who live in Spokane, Washington mid-June. Because I think it's a bad idea to start a business and then not be available for it, I will be waiting until I return to launch my web site. Until then, I will continue to create!

If you have any questions or comments, please feel free to email me at: ihearttreasures@gmail.com

Have a lovely weekend, everyone!
