"In our life there is a single color, as on an artist's palette,

which provides the meaning of life and art.

It is the color of love.”

~ Marc Chagall

Unfinished Wood - The Process

The Process:
Each wooden collectible starts 'au natural' - as an unfinished wood piece, or pieces.

One-of-a-Kind Creations
Each collectible's features are uniquely designed at the time of creation,
bringing to life their unique personalities.

Non-Toxic
All materials, including paint and gloss, are non-toxic.

Durable
Each collectible is made to be durable, so that you can enjoy yours for years to come.
However, they should be kept away from children who are teething
or pets that could damage them beyond repair.
In the case where there is more than one piece, such as a body and head,
the pieces are hot glued together and can not come apart.
These were a few of my first set of Collectibles, that include the Vintage-Stye Original Peg Dolls.

Newest 'Kokeshi-Style' body.

This new body style is 2¾" tall.

'Natural Imperfections'
Because each piece is hand-crafted and subject to the elements,
there may be minor flaws, or slight imperfections
that occur naturally during the creation process -
such as a tiny dust particle that settled on while drying.
Most of these flaws can only be seen under a magnifying glass.
The artist does her best to avoid or to fix them.
Though it is not a regular occurrence,
occasionally, a flaw requires that a piece be retired and recreated.
