This year has been a busy one and has literally flown by. It was a year that was filled with life changes - some very unexpected and difficult. But it has also been a very good year of change and personal growth. I have much to be thankful for.
Though I go through dry spells with my art, my passion to create will never go away. The art corner of my office sat unused most of this year, with my little creations waiting patiently for me to return. Sometimes 'life stuff' requires our attention to be elsewhere, but we always come back to find that we still have passion for the things we love.
At the request of my daughter, for her birthday, I began working on a Roly Poly Christmas collection in late October. It didn't take long to realize how much I missed working on my art. I missed it and I still love it.
With many of the life stuff that kept me away this year, it is now all behind me and it's time to focus on my favorite past time - my miniatures! I will start this new post with a few photos of my newest creations. Sadly, the camera never shows how adorable these creations are. Though I try my best to get decent photos, they are the cutest in person. When you hold these small, unique creations in your hands, the cute details and uniqueness of each one brings their personality to life!
I'm getting help on finishing a simple web site where I will be selling my 'i heart collectibles'. At that time I will also be setting up a Facebook page that will direct others to my site. I do hope you will be one of many who end up enjoying these unique collectibles. Whether you purchase them for yourself or a loved one, I guarantee you will not be disappointed!
Here are some photos of my recent creations, with more to come!
